My assignment this Thanksgiving is a BoJangles deep fried turkey
along with my Deviled eggs and potatoe salad and a pigs feet cake. It is a yellow cake with pineapple and cool whip icing and the pineapple juice poured over the cake before icing. It got its name years ago when Blake was a little boy and we have called it that ever since.

I was lucky enough to get my mothers turkey pan, nice thick aluminum with lid that fits tightly, will fit up to a twenty four pound bird. Always comes out nice and juicy with a bread crumb stuffing that includes onions, celery, shredded carrots, chopped olives, wild rice and chopped walnuts. Add butter, chicken stalk, salt, peper, and home grown sage.
