I love this, I believe that Josephine was the love of his life

I'm just catching up on your stuff after a layoff.

This letter project is ingenious, and I love ANY attempt at reviving interest in the now quaint art of writing personal letters - I haven't written one in years, frankly.  Having read the three letter poems, my reaction is that, beyond the basic facts, I know so little about the three that their intimate thoughts don't ring a bell for me.  Now, YOUR personal poetry is a different matter!  Your own words and lines of thought are wonderful to read.  Go where your interest leads, of course.  Whatever.  I'm always on the sidelines cheering!

Yep - sounds like the typical French mentality! And I did say typical - not generalizing here! These letters are fun to read!
