- Go to Holding on...the limits to hope?
Maybe when things or people will not change. Sometimes holding on is all one can do; other times things can be changed. Knowing the difference can be a challenge.

Maybe you are holding on to the wrong things, people, direction. Let go and let God. He may have an easier and more productive path for you. Do life in Him and not in your own power.

So we all do, holding on all our lives for something good to happen; the irony of it all is that we are so accustomed to seeing only the closed doors, and become too hynotized to notice the door that has opened up in the meanwhile. By then, all is lost, and we have to start all over again. To my way of understanding, if we can somehow, and there are ways, positive techniques, to change ourselves instead of trying to change the outside situation, the entire gestalt changes and we see things in new light - our perceptions then no more remain routine or mechanical. A thought-provoking poem indeed, Straightforward.
As for me, I love to struggle and toy with various ideas of the poets and those interpretations that connect logically and sequentially, supported of course by critics, I then present them to you dear readers. And, as you have said that the poems become must-read, it does give me happiness, but I try not to be attached and consciously try not to take credit too. Thank you for reading and commenting so warmly on my blog.

SF,
I don't think there are limits to hope. The key is to find blessings in your journey.

some times holding on is the most important thing we have to do...
eventually with Faith and with courage, it is worth it....well that's the way I see things. Life is so precious.
