I am liking the allusions to Beethoven here in this poem.

People don't write letters like that any longer.  In fact, not many people write letters.  Instead, they text, or write short emails or tweets or twitters, but not real letters or personal poems to just one person in private.

So beautiful, Jay...Ludwig knew his world would one day be silenced to him.  I suspect that this beautiful letter was perhaps written to his beloved Elise?  You see, she was blind...he was going deaf.  They were forbidden to marry.  So horribly sad.  But such a beautiful letter!  If only more people would take the time to write letters like these to those they love.  Danke, mein fruend.
