we are fighting the Civil War all over again.

State's Rights.

that is what the Civil War was fought about -- what the segregrationists proclaimed when opposing integration of schools and other Civil Rights programs.

That is the call today from the Right -- have the individual states determine various issues -- which would be all right for those that do not want equality and opportunity foir certain segments of society.

Lots of reasons to vote for the President.

There are so many issues at stake...not just race...we need to examine all the issues...are we at a better place than we were 4 years ago?  have we given him enough time to accomplish what he promised?  it took bush 8 years to mess it up...

I have this feeling...and don't ask me where it is from, because I"m not sure...but I think Obama will get back in.

I think all the pension money had to be given back to the employees of Dominion Store in Canada, when our Conrad Black who was jailed in the U.S.A., had to pay it all back, unlike your guy.

Whatever happened to may the best man win dsm? Well, the race cards are played so often it has become an open secret kind of a thing - eventually I hope everyone picks a president who can work for you and in nation building!

You really think it is about race? Not failed policies? How does a nation the elected him suddenly turn racisit? This is nuts.

Is that the best you got?  The race card....really?   Why did you bring up the point that Jesus is really black?   Who cares....he is my Lord and savior,  he gives me strengh.  I could care less what color he might be....

The difference is that this President is not a messiah, in spite of all of the photoshopped efforts to give him a halo.....tell us the percentage of promises kept?  Tell us of his accomplishments...

As we near the last week before the presidential election, the left and it's lapdog media that seemingly didn’t give a she-it about blacks until one they found acceptable was elected president.....will sound the alarm demanding our nation renounce its inherent racism (that wasn’t around in 2008) and reelect Barack Obama.

Not because he’s good for the economy or our standing in the world.....but simply because he’s black........nope, no racism there.

It's going to be interesting to see just how people vote.

Re: I've been thinking along these same lines...

Pat B, Americans are too accostumed to thinking in terms of white is right.  Jesus was black, but Western Civilization doesn't recognize that, making Christianity as intolerant as Islam.

I've been thinking along these same lines...

I'm tempted to think if the electorate swallows that old line and votes for the obvious con, then it deserves what it gets. Funny to me (funny strange, not funny ha-ha) how a candidate's ingrained patterns of destruction and disregard for human suffering can seem so opaque to white minded people.
