I have just spent ages here browsing, reading and catching up.

i hate to miss a Pat Post......all so well written and the logic for why described so well.

The storm didn't hit here we are blessed and we did get home safely yesterday. Not feeling real well but Wiley is and we are happy to be home as Graysome is happy to have us.

Things in NE Washington, DC are better than we'd expected they would be

though I have not yet heard how other parts of this area fared.

Tragic Pat I hope the oldies stay put if it is OK where they are. Poor Adnohr always seems to be in thick of things, l hope tomorrow brings better news.

It is so nice here that I can hardly imagine all the devastation being reported.

Pat

It's absolutely terrible on the East Coast! But here, just east of Toronto, we've had little more than 'high winds' (as opposed to hurricane force winds, LOL), a fair bit of rain, and last night a power outage lasting about an hour. This morning there's some sun mixed in with the oc casional heavy downpur, and when I was taking the reluctant doggie for his necessary walk (he hates rain, LOL) I saw the biggest rainbow ever... I would imagine that roughly the same conditions apply up in North Camelot... But I feel very sorry for the poor people down East...

We got it here too - wind was so bad I spent the night running from window to window, worried that one of the huge fir trees fall on the house...there's a huge one just where the rug rats sleep. No power for the night, but back on just long enough for coffee & my 3 bears' breakfasts, then off again. Has been flashing since. But I did get my coffee....
