Following on the news...
It looks like you are in for it the next couple of days. I almost feel guilty for enjoying our 60 degree sunny afternoon, which was unexpected.

I'm glad to hear it dosn't seem to be hitting overly hard. Even we here in southern Ontario, just east of Toronto are getting a taste of Sandy - steady rain and high winds. Of course there won't be any threat of serious flooding anywhere, not even down by Lake Ontario - no tides, no storm surge...

I will be adding directly to this post as the storm progresses,
rather than posting several new items, so it will all be in chronological order.
Thanks for all your good wishes... and same to you, Jimmy, and others who are under this same cloud!

Yeah, my wife and I are getting prepared here in New Jersey too! I hope the storm weakens once it makes landfall!

It's good to have a bit of advance warning, but
a bit tough to deal with the dread. It would hurt nothing to get everything up off the floor even if it doesn't flood. Peace of mind is a good thing. Fingers crossed this one isn't as crappy as it promises to be.

This could get interesting--actually, it already is. I'm following it pretty closely with my Sis and nephew in Baltimore and another Nephew in New York.
