I must admit, I don't think I've ever eaten Japanese food in my life, for one reason or another. And since I'm not into "spicy" foods at all, I don't think I would enjoy that King of Kings dish. But if it's to your liking, more power to ya!

Okay - another item to add to my bucket list. I've never tried that kind of food either. I'll talk to my Japanese DIL.

I am afraid I never developed a taste for hot spicy food Naut only garlic. My younger brother raves over Indian. I like fish and chips, if I have a preference, but sadly they are never like the ones once wrapped in newspaper at the local chippy.

I'd love to hear about your time spent on Japanese vessels. It sounds very interesting. I hear a lot about Japan from my son who spent three years there back in the 1980's when he was in the U.S. Navy. The 4th year they sent him to Central America, Canada and Alaska.
