Re: CCT

What ever present you give takes one back to sibling rivalry Naut. My brother used to say I'll give you a pound and them you can give me the same. Poor old dears Naut they probably had Dementia.

CCT

Birthday presents, Christmas presents - it's never a quetion that one should give something to certain people, especially one's sister, which I haven't got, incidentally, we were three boys in the family, with another boy coming in a little later - it's always the what, which gets more difficult year by year...

And witches? Yeah, there aren't supposed to be any these days, they were all supposed to have been burned a while back, but I've known a few, LOL...

Well that's great that you got your sister her present plus the chocolates CC. What color did you get the indoor paint in? You are always working on something but I guess that's good just to keep one occupied. Loved the poem and I have no doubt that even the witches have been modernised.!

Re: Birthdays and gift giving were harder in the old days when the kids

Well Pat I think kids like cash these days although I never remember getting much in the old days. This particular witch collects televisions so it is a problem.

I sometimes think that I must be a white witch since I can commune so

easily with the little people.

That rice, maybe it gave the birds indigestion!!!!!!!!!

Finicky feathered friends you have there CCT! Have they ever disappeared like that before now? Love the poem - the witch is pretty cheap for what she is promising.

Birthdays and gift giving were harder in the old days when the kids

were so far away and I wasn't up to date on their sizes or what they wanted. My fear was I'd give them some toy or other they already had. Then I found out they like cash or gift cards, and this simplified it immensely. A funny card, $20 or $30 dollars, and that'll hold 'em until next year.

As for what the witch wants -- today's witches would probably like a new I-phone or a mini I-pad (not out quite yet) complete with a year's contract...

Re: Ray

Well I did boil it first Ray, I just think the birds are elsewhere at the moment, I'll try some on the goose. Never play with witches Ray unless you are serious.

Rice for birds eh? Can they digest it, I wonder?..

Well, I guess you'll know soon enough..:) The poem is quite pleasing, CCT - warm and amusingly delightful -  perhaps the telly will dream?...

It can be tough to keep track of all of the shopping...I wonder what choice would be made. I'd take the television.
