i try not to turn the heat on until january...if it gets to 30s or lower at night with no more than 40s in day then i kick it on to 60...

I keep mine at 70 when I'm home and on 62 while away.

That's what I've always said. An extra sweater or a cozy blanket can do wonders in keeping the heating bills down!
