2What happened to the Sherman Antitrust Act and the FCC regulation against multiple ownership? It’s antitrust that concerns me. And, J-E-L-L-O’s too long to spell in that conglomerate now. BC-A, Bill’s R®st

After the election the Chinese will rule the world because they won the election with Romney, white outside noodle inside.  He loves China so much he's decided to make that the worlds greatest country so you can stop worrying.

Our reality? Or the reality we are programmed to believe by the media, television included? Chuck is right - the world is changing, has always been changing.  I tend to think it is going to get better...humans are going to wake up, maybe from pure frustration...or desperation....

The channels do seem to be cranking out lots of shows these days that are popular...I'm amazed that these 700 channel cable/satellite packages do so well in general.

Everything is changing around us even ourselves. I don't think we are moving in the right direction. Less and less people now believe in God. We are heading for a world of selfishness and I can call it the unknown.

You're right on with this post...

We, or our kids, grew up with the Cosby family and Archie Bunker - play any theme song from a '60s or '70s sitcom or just the sharp note from Law & Order and we're in familiar territory, strangers as neighbors. We shared the moment when Lee Harvy Oswald was gunned down in the hallway of the police station, either when it was live on TV or in a replay over the years. And yet we are suspicious, even fearful of different, of new.

Good thing we are adaptable, otherwise we'd have missed out on some delicious cuisine from so many international kitchens.

Over here the American television reality shows have a good following but then I must tell you that american programmes had us growing up with some of their cultures inculcated in us.
