I like this.  I've always had a bit of empathy for the native Americans, and loved researching their way of life.

They should have had a secure place long ago.  I hope they can find their way .  Such fine wording and a wonderful picture.

Well I guess it is because I am in St. Louis where the westward movement began that pushed the Indians to limits that no people should ever be pushed. I have a weak spot in my heart for the American Indians and the trials they were put through.

Caught between sons of daughters must be historical. Loved the poem and please don't worry if you don't read any of my poems. I am also most times these days in a rush - caught up with lots of work. thanks for stopping by Utah.
