Re: Human error, eh?
I have a feeling, Ciel, that monkeys may have done a better job! A monkey would have made sure that their young ate the "good" berries and avoided the poison ones! But I don't think they would have enjoyed working in that restaurant if they had to deal with parties for 2-year-olds! Hey, even monkeys need a little peace and quiet sometimes too!

Re:
It will be a mystery for the ages, FSI. You'd have thought that someone would have been paying some attention to the fact that it was a bunch of 2-year-olds! I guess we'll never know . . .

Re:
Well, C C T, they always say that any publicity is good publicity. But in this case, I think that restaurant may have just killed any chances of hosting another 2-year-old's birthday party! The grown-ups, however, may feel differently . . .

Re: JimmyA
Perhaps, Wiley. Perhaps things are just a bit different on the other side of the pond! I would have loved to see how little Sonny felt the next morning though!

Re: perhaps next time have the party at Micky D's or at home even.
I guess that would be a better alternative, Kabu. I don't think anyone at Mickey D's would have a bottle of whisky laying around to accidentally give to someone. At least I hope there isn't!

Re: Jimmy
I don't recall my 2nd birthday either, Naut, but I'm fairly certain there was no whisky involved . . . unless there was and no one told me! Hmmm . . .

Re:
Well, adnohr, I guess if you're going to learn something the hard way, it might be better to get it out of the way while you're still young and impressionable! I'll bet that apple juice is going to go down a lot smoother in the future!

Human error, eh?
What other kind of error could it have been? Mechanical? Maybe monkeys come into it somewhere?

That's disgusting! I hope the parents sue...But I wonder if little Sonny is really going to remember this - I certainly don't remember my 2nd birthday - hell, I don't remember last years...
