Re:
Sadly a lot of folk do use that word Jay. Also 123. I suppose you could use the same password to get onto blogit as you would use for your dating agency as an example. Not though if you have a few quid in the bank and you want it to stay there. No I won't breathe a word

I have so many pass words that I had to put them all in a note book that I can never find so I decided to have just one pass word for everything and I thought that it should be something simple, something that I will be reminded of each time I am asked for the darn thing. I chose (password) but don't tell anyone.

Adnohr she couldn't throw an elf let alone a gnome. (I never write about anyone on Blogit unless I am teasing them.)

Re:
Yes lion but you know how to tweak the damn things, we pay for convenience. I'll pass it to my BIL who just uses basics. I know that is a good one.

You pay for antivirus? I use http://free.grisoft.com keep selecting the free version not the trial one. It's perfectly acceptable even if there are no bells and whistles.

Re: Wiley
yes Wiley they all slow the machine down we could never get on with Norton, but now we have Kaspersky we tend to stick to it as all these programs make it hard to get shot of the original features. I don't get round your way much or I would give Kabu's gnomes a free health check. Folk never think they might have ingrowing toe nails.

Re: I'm truly a fogey now. Have a kindle I don't use because
Well teach DSM says we don't need one on Kindle so I told Arthur and he said he could be right as the password he put on his Kindle did not register anywhere. Although it has been reported that refurbished Kindles have been sent out if the original fails. I still prefer reading from a book though.

It's amazing all of the things that we need passwords for nowadays...I wonder if Kabu will help you with your gnome project.

We've had lots of frost already. We use Norton anti virus. Used Kaspersky at one time and nearly did my computer in. Of course now, Norton has nearly done us in too a few times. Over here the banks have the best protection for banking. Thanks for the Kindle tip, but I don't have one. I still prefer books. Thank you for your comment in my post Bro. I see your poetry has switched some to Kabu's topic.

About the kindle. the books are all on the cloud, stored for whenever you
need them. Your amazon.com account has to have a correct password.
