I agree with Kabu. I hope the pepper spray gives the hikers a nice flavor for the bears, unless they're cutting down on their spices as of late!

Just ordinary pepper, would it be better to just taste a small sample and what different procedure should one adopt, the black bear sounds a bit more unfriendly should one try to take a salmon from him.

We are all on the side of the bears
until the bear is on the side of us
with a diner bib on
and that's when
a 300 Winchester Magnum
