If you create a winding path with little nooks and crannies and pergolas, archways and art, the garden will feel like it has rooms and feel much bigger. That's my tuppence worth!

Well Sam it looks good nothing is ever perfect, but if you are going to stay forever that yard will grow bigger Is there room for a green house or could you manage with some good frames a greenhouse will need shading in your heat and they are not a lot of use if you do not have a small amount of heat in Winter. No big trees to damage the foundations . Neighbours Okay? Good luck whatever you decide

I like it, especially the open, spacious layout! The backyard may be a bit narrow, but I've seen people create beautiful landscapes in small spaces!

It has a folksy picket railing on the front porch, pretty landscape, and a nice layout inside the house. The backyard’s small but right for you. It’ll be great if you could keep up the garden. The petunias seem to grow good there. BC-A, Bill’s R®st

Such a charming house and layout with that nice woodwork again. I like the way they design things in Idaho. But you are the one that must be happy and I being one who likes to be outdoors understand the back yard concern too. The other suggestions were interesting.

Small yard,
Less maintenance, unless you need a polo ground! My back yard is 4 acres, a total pain!

yes but that means it will only take you 10 or 15 minutes to cut the grass...better yet make a back patio and then enjoy it having bbqs and what not!
