Jeff, the cloud idea has downsized the hardware.

The desktop computer is dead.  The laptop is even out of date.

Annicita,

I use the public library too, but many of the books I get these days are from the Amazon.com Kindle Dept.  Now I have the second latest Ken Follet (Fall of Giants).  It is the first in a trilogy.  Thanks for stopping by.

I know I'm not taking advantage of the technology, that I could

also get all those series you mentioned. But my cable system offers 'on demand' and I can get some network and cable programming that is on opposite my must-see programs that are not so flexible. There's a lot of stuff that's pointless, violent, negative and I wouldn't bother to watch it. I search out comedy, medical breakthroughs, research about what makes the universe work, nature shows. And of course my one guilty pleasure, a soap opera where the characters eavesdrop, never have to go to work, spread gossip, attack one another (verbally), have affairs, abscond with company money, lie, set traps for their frenemies, and generally "do nothin' to save their doggone soul."

It's almost at the point I don't care anymore what comes out anymore. Also would you be able to type in a more readable typeface like bold? It was a very difficult read. Thanks forf your comment in my blog.

we never go to the movies in a theatre any more. Way too expensive

and we watch what we get fro free on our tv bundle. people on incomes like ours have to live smart.
