I expect Pat we deceive ourselves thinking we are so great. Having crawled from our grubby past believing we are the only ones of intelligence amongst the millions of worlds out there. For all we know a civilization might just depend on a lull in the universe. I expect If the earth went up in flames tomorrow, in a million years we would probably be back thumping our laptops. Not you or I but similiar entities.
