TAPS

Fall has its charms, something this summer addict occasionally needs reminding of, and you've done it beautifully. And I'm glad that we here in the Great White North can easily avoid the noise and babble of the hustings, if we so desire...

i would much rather read your post and muse over each word of your poem

than listen to one more moment of the hate and disengagement of people in your country. if i stop and listen i am trembling with fear for whoever wins the other side has predicted terrible doom for the USA and the rest of the World.

A stunning beauty, Dear TAPS! I am in awe...

And I agree with your points about the other "season"...I usually enjoy politics on some masochistic level, lol, but am getting weary of it early on..:)

This poem reminds me that it is that wonderful time of the year.

Tremendous!  Nature has soothed and redeemed the conflicts of my life for years.  I thank God for His creation.  I am headed out when I get a chance!! I'll do what I can with the political mess too!. Less talk and more constructive action from all of them would be better with me.  Loved this post!!

My sentiments exactly - but more eloquently than mine.

Your poem exactly finds the feel of autumn woods. I can take a deep breath and feel the air... Thank you, Taps!

I love the poem. You are so right nothing beats the beauty of God's creation and his constant revisions through the seasons. Be blessed.

A beautiful poem Tapps as your poetry always is, but I don't see the conflict if you know your mind...No one can change that.

It is worth putting up with all that political BS if we get to read more poems like this one, TAPS. I wish I could put down words like you do.You wrote exactly what I am feel about autumn, but what I could never express so eloquently.
