I understand. Males will say what a female wants and needs to hear. Females believe them for they trust that what is being said is genuine as they are made to feel so special as they are pursued. It is awful when the male gets what he wants then move on to the next person and start the cycle again. The misery of the victim starts.
Please seek counseling and surround yourself with good people to share the burden. That makes a huge difference.

It's so risky out there in dating world, especially for impulsive
seventeen-year-olds. I have a granddaughter that age who's also vulnerable, and the words "life isn't fair" don't begin to cover the consequences for trusting the wrong guy. I only hope this makes her stronger and keeps her safer in the future. Be well.

So sorry this happened. No-one deserves it and no, life is not fair...nor unfair. It just is - and the only thing to do is to keep going, with faith that you will also have your share of good things along the way.
