Well I enjoy the writing Pat and I shall read it from the beginning once you conclude. I do this very often with books as one read sometimes does not pick up the little gems.

It's going very well, excellent dialogue! One teensy, weensy point: I don't think Joe Alvarez would say 'slick as snot.' You might, I might, but he doesn't strike me as the kind of kid who would...

I would like to read this from Chapter 1, otherwise I'm completely out to lunch with this and that's the truth.

Re: UtahJay -- writing dialog...
It may look easy by the time you can read it, but it takes practice, practice, practice and a lot of revision. These days, I can "see" my characters and imagine their reactions, etc. One challenge is to differentiate between characters, different accents, different educational levels, different points of view. I appreciate your kind words...

I am so sorry that I missed your posts the last few days...No, really. I had to go back and get caught up. Wiley John is right you know...You are a great writer. People who cannot write great pros as you do, dabble with poetry like I do. There is nothing so difficult for me as to put a conversation on paper that actually reads like a conversation, and you do it with a graceful ease.
