I'm still trying to find that book!! You gave the taste to read it again with your first post on this...it's in my enormous bookshelf...but where? My daughter shoved books in there willy-nilly when we moved the thing. You didn't happen in embed a signal device in it, did you? she asks hopefully...

constructive criticism is a must for writers but it takes a really serious
and very adult writer who can accept with the dignity that you do.

I think Pat it is difficult in a concise exercise and not being able to read continuously to fix characters in the readers minds this is not your fault in this situation. One can still enjoy the drama and perhaps read through again when it is complete.Goodness and you put some work into this.
Books are different I think they should allow for each character to develop Dickens was a good example.

i thought it was just me...i think it was because too many characters were introduced at the same time....but it is intriguing and look forward to the next chapter
