all those promises in my experience and I can only really write for
Australia, but we all seem to be in the same situation.....all those promises properly interpreted = give me the power I crave, I promise to lick your boots....just give me the power. then of course who really cares about an 80 year old once they have the power.

Power corrupts Ray matters not who has hold of this. I suppose a vote of 5 thousand might be a fairer way to proceed, but it will never be tried.

Yeah, it's getting scarier and scarier. I believe it's time to let everyone else deal with their own problems for a while, and allow us to sort out our own! If your house was on fire and your neighbor's house was on fire, wouldn't you put out your own house fire first before helping your neighbor? That's just my opinion . . .

I agree with all of your points, Annicita. It is a tricky thing, criticizing Israel though. Many Zionists will label you as anti-Semitic if you dare express any awareness of what is happening in Palestine. But that doesn't silence me and I'm so glad to hear from other brave souls on this issue.
My heart aches for all who are terrorized and who have been caught in the cross fire - so much tragedy for both peoples...

There is a growing awareness of what is truly going on in Israel...I mean Palestine. I refuse to recognize that state of so called Israel. Billions are given to it from around the world. We don't need to help them in the raping of another country. And no I don't hate jews. I just don't approve of the policies they are using to get land whichever way they can.
Romney defined the middle class as making 250,000 a year. If that is the middle class well I guess I would have to reach up to touch rock bottom. And that BTW is where the upper 1% starts. We need a leader who isn't so clueless.
