It truly is ashame what is going on with free speech. Here's hoping that free speech wins out. Unfortunately, I do not see things getting better...

ÜIn the past couple decades special interest groups, causes, and religious groups protest and attempt to cause trouble for interests different than their own. The only thing I would feel concern about for mine is that separation of church and state not become, sitting on the fence of violations of Constitutional rights. Neither should groups harm or be put into a position against their consciousnesses. Nor should the populace and global interests become overzealous, playing Big Brother to others not good at what they do but certainly not threaten or try to harm them. BC-A, Bill’s R®st

It is indicative of the sheltered minds of Muslims
that they failed to consider in their United Nations resolutions that the opening surahs of the Qu'ran are almost entirely a defamation and blasphemy against Christianity and Judaism. Perhaps, the United Nations should apply those resolutions to condemn Muslims for adhering to the Qu'ran.

Unfortunately Obama is not going to say any of those things whatsoever! He sure should! I believe he will take the middle road on this issue for he does not want to do anything that will cause him to lose in November! If Americans are smart they will make sure this ineffective President will not be in the White House for another term! He is such a disappointment and yet he believes he deserves another term! UGH! He has earned a damn thing in my humble opinion! sam

All I can say is the world can be thankful that Christians, and Jews do not react violently when their religion is attacked like these misguided folks do...There would be nothing left.

Obama is not at all on the right track. He will do what he wants and lie about it all the way. The video has nothing to do with this except a clutch to hold while they lie and lie more. The only authority who has spoken truth is the President of Libya. He stated the video was not the cause, of course, look at your calendar. I read the man, he is good but too watered down and expecting something from Obama. When Pigs fly.

I must admit I didn't read all of David Frum that you posted here....My mind is just not in that frame of mind right at the moment. I will probably come back to it tomorrow when the day is young and my mind more fresh. I just want to say that I believe all this violence would have found a way to happen even if it weren't for that video. The video is being used as an excuse to bring it on.

If he has the American Consitution at heart...sincerely...he will stand up for the right of free speech. I imagine many will be listening...and judging.
