I often figure when there's such a discrepancy that someone has read multiple pages or accidently clicked thinking that they had not read when they already did.

You would be surprised at how many people pay to come to Blogit just to read. Did you happen to read adnohr's latest post? A good example of it.

I always have a lot more page views than I do comments, it's been that way since I joined Blogit! Some folks may not have a thing to say but enjoy reading the posts! But who truly knows! sam

I was one of those. I'm sorry it offended you. Sometimes I read when I am short on time and just move from one blog to another without commenting. Sometimes when I am not feeling real well it is soothing to read what is going on, but I just can't make myself write comments. Do you think that if people know they don't intend to make comments that they shouldn't read what you write? I can easily stay away on those days. My thinking was that even just my reading would/might put a penny in the pot.

I don't know about the numbers, it makes no sense to me ever. I read, mostly I comment but frankly it's all getting to be too much...
