The family album thing was interesting - truly a glimpse of the past in many ways! And as far as the Muses are concerned, mine is AWOL...

I used to coach a little league baseball team. One day, like you and your siblings, we were practicing and here the storm came. We stopped practice just moments before the chain link dugout where we were practicing and kids were hanging gloves and bats and hands was struck with lightning...It'scary stuff. No one hurt thank God.

I think your Jonathan Edwards story was rather timely.  It reminded me of what is going on in our world of Mideast violence and terror everywhere.

Don't be sorry - Jonathan's piece was interesting, very well told as usual, and got reaction! And if that's what it takes to get 2 posts on the same day from you - I'm kool with it!!!!

Well PAT you don't do so badly, at least we can see where you are coming from. I think you could preach a far better sermon than the old reverend, I should love to know what the indians thought of him. Do you have a flue injection all over 65 or in weedy health have one here.

i carry index cards and/or a notebook and jot down all those possibilities so it unclutters my thoughts and allows me to be in the moment...then i go back when i need an idea to write about and draw from them
