It has been so, so long since I have used clothespins, since I have even had any clotheslines. Just thinking about it reminds me of purple poop streaks on flapping sheets and how mad my mom would become when she had to wash them again. There was a big mulberry tree in her yard where the birds just loved to hang out.

Your John and I would get on well together, I love my PS2 even if it's old. That game got me through many lonely hours and years before Kabu came luv.

Hi Pat
So far I've read only this post and the previous one - fun and insightful as usual. And it occurred to me that, if Dante were to write his Divine Comedy today, Dating Sites and Video Game Conventions might well be among the Circles of Hell...

Pat my Mum would not have a washing machine she washed it all in the sink and squeezed the clothes through a mangle, I don't know how she dried them but she had one or two old flat irons. My brother hangs his shirts in the airing cupboard and swears it keeps them crinkle free. My clothes just dry indoors but a lot of them are kind of a quick dry option these days.
