What use of time would Harrick have the virgins make?

I suspect he's not encouraging them to trim their wicks or stitch a new motto onto a cross-stitch project... Gather ye rosebuds, make hay while the sun shines, eat, drink and be merry, for tomorrow... Well, it's all good advice.
