I liked all those shows as well. Never misses Bonanza

actually i enjoyed Dallas with JR. as well. I was real poor single MUm putting myself through University and their wealth was an escape for me...also the cat fights for I wanted a cat fight with the witch who had broken up my family!!!!

Oh! This post spoke to me. I can remember these and loved them so much. They made sense to me, the bad guy did it, go get him. I miss the whole social structure of these movies, not in the movie time but in the time of the watching.

Yes Ma'am excuse me while I shoot up the bad bunch down at the saloon.  You take your Pappy inside and keep your pretty little head down.  Used to love those old cowboys Pat. Remember Bronco.

I just work up, way too early and am blurry eyed and tired. I plop down on the couch and the first thing I do is read this story of yours. I really enjoyed it! Now I don't feel as draggy as I did. You made my morning better. Thank you!

It's always so much fun to read your posts, Pat_B. If we had been neighbors as little tykes, we'd probably would have spent hours playing cowboys and indians, you and Bird and me. It was our favorite game, imagination galore, and a huge farm that would become whatever mountain range or saloon we needed on that particular day.
