I've never been much of a Three Stooges fan but you and JimmyA make it interesting. When I was little, our neighborhood theater ran them a lot between two features and I never could understand how people thought it was funny to hit each other in the head. LOL

Yes, the shorts will change. Originally, the team was referred to as Ted Healy and His Stooges. Once Healy was out of the picture, Moe more or less took over as both the team's leader and business manager. Believe me, over the next 90+ shorts, you will rarely see either Curly or Larry ( or Shemp, Joe Besser or Curly Joe Dorita ) take any shots at Moe! By the way, Moe's ( real name Moses ), Curly's ( real name Gerome ) and Shemp's ( real name Sam ) last name was actually Horowitz, and Larry's last name was Fineburg. But because of various anti-semite feelings in Hollywood at that time, the Horowitz's changed their last name to Howard, and Larry just opted to remove "burg" from his name. Anything else you'd like to know? ( as you can plainly see, I'm a huge Stooges fan! )
