I think it's good to be exposed to the arts, even if it's done by keen amateurs it helps to deepen our appreciation of the art

ana has taken dance classes....she wanted to go to the ballet ....we didnt know anybody in it....it was a nice time but all good things must come to an end...

Sounds like what used to be called a "recital"- which can be pretty

tedious unless you "have a horse in the race" or can look at it tolerantly as a kind of work in progress.  

Gin and I have been to a few to see our neighbor's little girl Elyse.  At Christmas time there is always a Nutcracker or two by dancing schools.  I love the programs, with their little notes to the little performers - We love you, Sally, You are our elf, etc.

So was this on your trip to the Mid East? And what was the name of the Ballet? Sorry you didn't get to see the end.
