Re:

I'm glad, shobana. If I could just figure out how to post pictures, I'd show everyone the pic from our wedding reception of us holding up my first gift to my wife . . . matching, custom-made New York Rangers hockey jerseys with our last name on them, along with, you guessed it, number 22! It was a big hit at the reception!

Re:

Thanks, Annicita. I like to tell that tale from time to time only because, like I wrote, 22 is a special number for my wife and me that apparently chooses not to be "tainted" by gambling on it! It's far better to simply enjoy those moments when it suddenly "pops up!"

Re:

That's true, Troosha. Anyone who goes to those casinos with the intent on "breaking the bank" is going to be very disappointed! Just go for the fun and excitement of it with money you can afford to lose. And don't play 22! That's our number!

How wonderful to have a special number to make your marriage all the more special!! Cute story and it made me smile.

I guess 22 is a special number for the two of you in so many ways - just not in gambling.  I've never had much luck at the Casinos either.... I'm thrilled if I just win my money back (like your wife did).

Re: JimmyA

Re: JimmyA

Surely you jest, Wiley, although it did take me more than 22 minutes to write! Wait, come back! I have a 22,000 word dissertation for you to wade through, that may take you 22 days to read! Ready? It concerns the origin of the number 22 itself . . .

Re:

Ya never know, FSI! I never payed too much attention to such things before I was married either, but there has just been something about this number 22 that has captivated both my wife and me, and it continues to this day!

Re:

Well hopefully, luster, if huge, even numbers are your game, you won't have to wait another 11 years to find that Mr. Right! That "chance meeting" could be just around the corner!

Re: nice post.....enjoy your Romantic Number for always....

And that's probably the best way to do it too! I know you're just having some fun with your postings, just as I'm having a bit of fun with my comments! Keep smiling!

That is neat how you find the number 22 all around. I myself have yet to see a number make its way into my life in a similiar manner.

nice post.....enjoy your Romantic Number for always....

I have to laugh at your remarks in my post.....I do enjoy my World thank you. The uglier the World away from the safety of our cocoon of love here at home gets, the more determined I am to write nonsense and keep the ugliness out.
