Well CC, one cannot get too much of wisdom, lack of it and we always go seeking for more . Your second poem reminded me of a mannequin come alive (like the movie) - great job as always and hope Arthur manages to get the wood he is looking for - 140 sounds reasonable as I am sure its hard work.

Well Pat I felt rather fond of that character for a while, he even left me a little friend for company, but when I posted in poetry I thought it was a bit off key, many of the old gang seem to have disappeared. The trouble with poetry, people would come on and post 6 or so poems at a time, I was always telling them to just do one each day, but they like the idle wind heeded not and burned up in the arid desert of no comments.

My backyard neighbors asked me to cut down a couple of old Russian olive trees that was shadowing his garden, so I did, I need the wood too...Winter is on her way.

fantastic adventures with the horned one -- leggy blonde, furry-legged demon, and all. And in the end, I'm supposing, there was no kiss, no young man lost forever in that enticing whirlwind...
