- Go to THAT OTHER WORLD
I just got home from California where I found myself teased with these same thoughts, wondering back to when only the Spanish were there and all the souls who had touched that place since. Nice work Bob. As for Ashtray Memories, like you asked, it is sort of the same thing, going back to another time and another plane when the world was a simpler place. A title poem.

Re: Re: Sometimes perhaps we do get a glimpse of another dimension
If I had the chance i would go back in time rather than forward. I would love to meet my Great Grandmother Susan who was a real character I believe and wrote articles for the newspapers and could distrupt the family. I think we would have much to share!!!

Re: Sometimes perhaps we do get a glimpse of another dimension
Jack Finney's novel Time and Again is a wonderful, wonderful story about just that! A commercial artist goes back in time to old New York. The story's illustrated by period
pictures he's supposedly drawn. I think I've read it 4 or 5 times. My favorite part is the first time he succeeds in going back. It's a snowy night and he hears a horse and carriage coming. Since it's Central Park, it might be just one of the quaint rentals ...
What a story!

Yes. I still can't eat a raspberry without thinking of
spiders. When I was 11 or 12 I was berry-picking and popped one into my mouth - it had a spider on the other side. Blackberries, strawberries, blueberries I can eat without a care, but not raspberries.

Re:The big bunch gets even bigger with each year. But it's strange, too,
how often these days an acquaintance will mention an incident -even a pretty important one - and I don't remember it at all.

Sometimes perhaps we do get a glimpse of another dimension
things that are intangible, not seen, but felt.
