Re:

I think our families are similar for that, aren't they, FSI?

Re: adnohr

I think if the child has been breast fed, the attraction is because of being two years old, whether male or female would make no difference. It hasn't been that long since the comfort and closeness from mummy has been replaced by bottle or glass. And we all know men just never grow up anyway....(I'm ducking)

Interesting thing this - males (even young ones) attracted by the female breast. I wonder if he would have been equally impressed if he were a she? BTW, by coincidence, have just posted a response to CCT's recent poem in which bosoms are featured. You might find the comment interesting (and also stupid, perhaps). - Pannonian

It is good to be able to share jokes with one another.

It's those moments that memories are made of, and I agree,

even very young children get the idea, if not the meaning. We have a real good time together, all of us!

Very real life, BC-A.

If they did it on TV they would make a comedy from it.

Re: My Grandchildren were all fascinated that I only had one of those....

Kids do see that, of course, and anything different holds their interest. Bet they loved being with Ya Ya!

Re: Making the body "off limits" or something to be hidden is kind of warped.

Like you, I don't think a parent should do it on purpose, but I've never thought one should hide away from children either. That would only put mystery to the most natural thing! And what's fun is that they're still at the age where they really do think Mémère is wise, LOL!

Oof - I find that a little old to be nursing.

But I guess everyone has his/her opinion on that.

My Grandchildren were all fascinated that I only had one of those....

all of them would move my nighty as we shared a cuddle in Ya Ya's bed and take a peak.

Making the body "off limits" or something to be hidden is kind of warped.

I don't advocate roaming around in the altogether 24-7, but when m'mere's getting dressed and a toddler walks in, the matter-of-fact continuation of getting dressed is the healthiest approach you could take. Everybody's got a body, no big deal. I love it that you didn't go all Puritannical. Kids are so lucky to have a wise grandmother. :)

Well adnohr that was an interesting blog from a scientific angle of course. I can't remember where but I once saw a child of four I would think still being suckled.
