Those nettles sound like no fun there...So important it is in relationships for both people to be willing to make those different sacrifices.

Re: adnohr

Well it actually made me feel sad adnohr .  My Mum could never show much emotion, she wanted to, but her childhood did not produce many examples, perhaps one searched for a , surrogate .

Re: I'm beginning to hate those charities. You donate to one and they

Yes it is stupid and sad in a way Pat if  one's favourite charity or two accepted a donation each year and did not keep wasting buckets of money on silly promotions, they would not need half the staff. One recently sent me a small cushion it was useless for anything, and hoped I would rush back £30 pounds it must have cost at least £1 to pack and send the so called gift.

Re:shobana

Thank you Shobana be careful though one can get a pretty hefty fine over here for talking into a hand phone. I think you enjoy shopping, I do most of mine on Amazon or wait for bargains to come up like a nice white striped suit. Take it easy he won't be able to use your camera phone when your daughter has studied the law.

With commitment comes sacrifices CC, throughout the poem I was picturing her as this elusive person you are keen on - I'm sure she jumped knowing there is much to expect embracing this relationship - give and take perhaps! Thanks CC for your comment in my blog and the picture was taken while I was driving with my ever so handy camera phone..lol. I do wonders while driving with no cops around..LOL. Well, I was away (as you know I have this daughter of mine down from Cuba) with a million things to do (and she is always shopping and me tagging along :) and the other girl that I have will soon be in your country reading law. She is going to Bristol in September for the last year of her study and well, I just have too much to do...

Did she jump toward you, or away from you, or perhaps on you?  It really does make a difference in the mind picture I have formed from your poetry.

CCT

Just let 'em go right on thinking your still alive, they will think that without receiving a donation for sure. That is tough living when 'energy has been spent, but it is not wise to hold a reluctant image,or give succour to those soft pink fires which fervently raged.' Yes indeed, that would be too much for the mind.

I'm beginning to hate those charities. You donate to one and they

put your name on a list, then you hear from a dozen more. And each wants another donation in another month, a year's membership that lasts a month. I've quit responding.

Oh boy - that last line did it - made me angry. It was flowing along alright until that little jump - how dare she?
