Such a strong woman. Of course, there will always be angels among the devils. When there's good, there'll be bad, and vice versa. We can't all be the same.

"To aid their memory. They're useful if one ever plans to write an autobiography or a family history, whether or not they're intended for other readers. I think we write so people will remember us, with some exceptions. It's probably like leaving our footprints behind us in the sand, never mind that the images wash away in the next tide."

Pat, I would rather walk on water than leave footprints in the sand  BTW - I have added a couple of bay leafs to the stock tonight, as you suggested.

A nice read and for sure there are angels amongst us and I live with one of them. Keep well and we love you, angel and me.

and you too are one of those angels for while she was administering to you,

you were supporting her back. Some times a few kind words back when you are nursing folks, really uplifts you to keep on, recharges the batteries to keep encouraging the sick. i am so very grateful that they took good care of our Pat.

There are many good people in this world.  I'm glad that some of them were taking good care of you.

Poor girl extending sympathy to strangers and under stress herself. I expect she was pleased to be able to tell someone. Anyway it is nice to have you hanging around. Not many of us left.

There sure are. It's nothing short of heroic the way some people can handle their own stressful situations, but still smile and do all in their power to help others. We hear many horror stories about hospital personnel - it's gratifying to read good ones like this.
