- Go to Iran Diary - 20 to 25 April 2008
Can't decide which I liked better, the photos or the narrative.
I knew many Iranian students back in the early '70s when I worked in the Univ. housing office, learned just a little about their ways of conducting business. Most, after I got to know them, showed artistic ability and a sense of humor similar to mine. I valued their friendship very much.

This was a long information packed post. I did love it because of the detail etc.,

CCT You are spot on. I did keep a diary, written in the past tense and for these extracts I changed tense. I find positing images inserted into text is awkward on Blogit and am unlikely to do so again. Anyway, as you’ve gathered, I’ll be glad to see the end of it (tomorrow), and then have some fun (posting fiction).

I expect you feel exhausted writing all this, well I assume you kept a diary. I loved the old man with the donkey and it was nice of you to give him money. I should not think many tourists give much away on impulse, a pair of sandals for a £1. It is going back a bit in time. Thank you for a peep into your life.
