I know a lot of people who along with the exercise factor find mowing the lawn to be therapeutic.

Absolutely mowing the lawn is good exercise, but you also want to accomplish what you set out to accomplish, and that's to end up with a nicely mowed lawn! Difficult to achieve when your equipment keeps falling apart! My wife and I actually own an electric lawn mower, and it seems as though it's the only one in use in my state! Con: we have to use two 50 foot extension cords to reach the entire yard, and we have to be careful not to accidentally run the cord over! Pro: no gasoline to store or use, the mower never stalls ( and thus never has to be constantly restarted ) and it's much quieter than a conventional mower. Something to consider.

I am sorry it did not turn out like you wanted. I am so sorry that the people you take such grand care of are not there for you immediately when you need them. Be blessed.

It is good exercise and does look lovley and neat. Also the flowers and
potted plants show better if the lawn is cropped. What a shame that SIL. refuses to do anything much for you.....he could have put the mower together I am sure. Still a power mover will work easy. do you have a Gnome yet?
