It is amazing but God loves little children. He will bless you for keeping them safe and sound and giving them love and good care. He is resting you up for your calling.

(Hit enter too fast!)
I would probably do the same as Smooch if I was a doggie.

Don't be fooled, CCT, young Louka is not innocent, LOL!
This isn't her first heat, and she drives Grump crazy with her demands when she's in that mood. Smooch is less docile than Grump - he definitely needs the big 'O'! Knots are uncomfortable...

I am like Smooch. I am not keen on getting vaccines, bloodwork and all that good stuff...Vet visits have gotten expensive here too.

Beautiful animals. It is so great to read about loving, caring humans with animals. There are so many neglected and abused and unloved "pets".

Re: adnohr
Wiley, she is beautiful, but definitely not a dog you would get for children. The pits are loving and playful, too rough only because of their size. Louka is sweet, but also very quick to take revenge if something displeases her and she thinks she can get away with it. Since the boys have arrived, her master keeps her tied except for late evening and very early morning. None of us want an accident.

Yes kind of sad in a way adnohr, such an innocent gesture. Sadly one swallow does not make a summer now if the beauty in question was on the pill . I think it might be best to take two sons on the next visit. Pity they can't just have the snip. Sadly I don't know if they would remain docile and might be an embarrassment , I am tying myself into knots here woof, woof.

Re: adnohr
The boys left yesterday to spend the weekend with their Mom; they'll be back Sunday afternoon. Man, but the house seemed so empty with them gone! The doggies are searching for them everywhere, LOL. And it's weird, Justi, but I seem to sleep much better and longer since they've moved in. Go figure!!

Re: I suppose it would relieve some of the drama if the beautiful Louka
Louka's master wants to breed her with the same race of dog, but he hasn't yet found a male with the character references desired. He's a good master, and wants a male with a gentle disposition. Many of that race are more agressive that pits. I LOVE having my son around!!

I am so glad you had help. It is enough what you are doing on a regular basis. Caring for the heavy and independent Bull boys is a handful. Thankfully Joe helped you. How are the little boys? Be sure to get enough rest as often as you can. I do want you to use care with these newly added responsibilities. You aren't as young as when you had excessive energy to raise yours. Just being an old, old granny talking. We love you.

I suppose it would relieve some of the drama if the beautiful Louka
were to be spayed - and it would lower the risks of an unplanned dog wedding. Among the ones I've owned, animals were much happier and healthier without the familiar impulse. Hard to find a rock solid stand on either decision. Kujo and kids? you're right to head that off quickly. Nice to have your son there for the vet visits.
