- Go to Pedometers Are Inaccurate, Inconsistent, and Unreliable
That's true. Any exercise is better than no exercise, and it doesn't always have to be quantified. Another good exercise for losing weight? Shaking your head back and forth when offered seconds!

I think Wiley threw out those walk meters for similiar reasons
Also one becomes fixated on them and out the door goes enjoyment and relaxation.

I used one for about 2 years when I had a psychologist friend and it became an obsession . So I got rid of that psycho as a friend because he always had some head game or other to play in the heads of folks he was attempting to control. Want a pedometer? I have about 3 different kinds, brand new, in a drawer in the office I would give away. At 76 now I'll just keep trying to control my weight by osmosis.LOL Good post.
