Lo Sam it seems funny high electrical bills in Summer all over sixty get a hand out in Winter. although there has been talk of cutting that out. Well we might seem close to your way of thinking but some roads are only being allowed for the athletes. I think one would have to be a rich foreign visitor and have a hotel near the venue to enjoy the full Monty.
Even those living near have been dubious of guns stationed as protection,I just hope it goes off as it was intended.

The ways of life can twist and turn but the inevitable is that we end up face to face with them over time! And, it's hot in my neighborhood, too! I just got my electric bill and I am okay for another month but July has been a rough one and August is sure to be as hot! So the inevitable for me is the reality of a high electric bill that I would rather not have! But, I am fortunate because I told Jes I would handle the bills within my budget and anything over that she would have to lend a hand! lol Stay cool! Are you close to the Olympics because I think all the people participating and viewing them could be a nightmare for traveling and the like! I do hope London has a marvelous Olympics, too! sam
