Do you know that interpretation had never occured to me! That said I had no real back story for the characters at all, it was literally just a fragment of a scene that popped into my mind

I can only think of sad titles Lion, to have to sell oneself for money is quite disturbing.
I could think of other solutions but that time is not with us at the present. How about this one . All prostitutes will be allocated a working robot. The prositute who will obviously have a new title, will be in care of the helpmate and recieve adequate compensation, the venue or the dark alley it will be up to the Madams. If this is just a lady looking for a date, I have no idea.
