I can empathize. When my dad was in that state, my brothers and sister and I flew out to Texas from Jersey to see him one last time. When we said goodbye to fly back home, we were really saying "Goodbye." It was one of the most difficult things I ever had to do! So sorry to read of someone else having to go through that.
