Things sure have changed since then - that neighborhood today has air conditioners, tv, pizza, washers, driers, video games. But my apartment house, 2902, still has no elevator.

Afternoon back then
I love the imagery depicted in this piece. It created pictures in my mind which I love. Like reading a good novel and being able to place yourself there in the moment.
Thank you for sharing the memories of an afternoon back then. They do seem to have changed some with the times.
Good write and enjoyable read.
