My SIL is in retail and she echoes what you are saying! It's tough to enjoy summer when the fall holiday stocking comes up! A couple of years ago at a Shopco I found some very nice artifical birds I put on my tree, but they were to big, so I boxed them, but they were a christmas item! So hold out and perhaps the birds will come in soon! lol sam

That's so true, and a terrible trend these stores and manufacturers have started. Like you said, if you want any Halloween decorations, you'd better get them now, because during the actual week of Halloween, the store will be too busy with their Christmas items and decorations! It's maddening, and deplorable! And I, for one, refuse to fall for it!
