I'm not freaked out by many critters but, I confess, I might have "Eeeked" at the thought of a bat as well. They're just down right creepy.

I was wondering if the bat got out as well! It had to be a sight to see so many scurrying for the exit! LOL! sam

Did you eventually let the poor creature (the bat) leave the building? Or did you keep him on to empty the library each night in time for the pub??
