Happy Birthday young lady. Before I get off on a tirade of how wonderful this is wearing the smile you sent I want to tell you...I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF THAT PARTY. That is so sweet. Thank you for posting that.

j Until my late 20s I remember my big birthday parties with my relatives in the backyard. And then at twilight my mother and aunts brought out the cake and coffee in the old percolator-server that they plugged in but not on the stove. I listen to Happy Birthday (September 2nd) and blew out no more than 28 candles. Happy Birthday to you too love. BC-A, Bill’s R®st

Happy birthday dear, reminded me of my Mum putting sixpences in the Xmas pud. I doubt if they had much of a swill, but germs were more friendly in those days. Perhaps we benefit from it these days. It all sounds lovely, but of course I would have been to old for birthday parties at that time. A great big boy going to birthday parties. Yes but I like the little girlies.
