My sister, who is three years younger than I, looks like me.

Many years ago, both I and my younger brother played soccer, but on different teams. One year both of our teams made it to the state championships, which was covered by the local media. My team's uniforms consisted of red shorts and a red & white striped shirt, and I wore the number 3. My brother's team wore green shorts with green & white striped shirts, and he also wore number 3. But in a black & white newspaper photo, both teams looked identical. One spread showed a picture of my brother in action, but somehow, they confused him with me, and my name appeared in the caption. Everyone who saw it chuckled and accepted the confusion because we looked so similar. Guess what? We're four years apart in age! So, confusing siblings as twins isn't really out of the ordinary!
