It was great! Lots of obstacles (trees, boulders, sandbars...) and the river was flowing nicely. :)

Lordy, Lordy, Suzanne, it is a joy to see you back here luv. I had to go into my office, look up this list I have of people I made those chalice's for, but now at 76, I have your name and address written down but can't remember why I thought one of my chalices may be helpful for you at that time. Do you know I made 64 of them over the years, but haven't made one for quite a while. That's because I was very sick with heart problems in 2008 and one of the things they told me was to stop woodworking, you'd know more about that than me. Dang, I'm sorry, nearly wrote you a blog here luv. Welcome back
